The Morrow Art Gallery displays the artwork and photography of William E. Morrow. Bill is a full time productions foreman on the waterfront in North Vancouver, BC. In 1992, his wife, Darlene, sold his first painting. Since that time, Darlene enters Bill's art and photography into juried shows selling through that small network and by word of mouth. He also does commissioned work and one of his paintings hangs in the BCR Marine Ltd at Vancouver Wharves.
Bill started drawing when he was a young boy. He was a shy child and found that drawing and painting was a way to express himself. As he grew up, he had the typical troubled teen years and the art got lost along the way.
In 1987, his wife, Darlene, enrolled him in a watercolour workshop with Barbara Nechis. Bill enjoyed learning, loved & feared watercolour and one course or workshop led to another.
He has taken workshops with Kiff Holland, Brent Heighton, Britt Zaist (

Recently, when we were in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Bill took a workshop with Britt Zaist in abstract acrylic ink. He loves the techniques and has squeezed as much time as possible into developing his own style.
This method is quite a challenge for Bill. If you notice all his other artwork is very detailed. The loose form of the abstract will undoubtedly transform his watercolours as well.
Bill loves art. It's the expression of the world he sees. He's a great photographer, too. Our house is a gallery. The paintings, graphite drawings and photographs reflect the holidays that we have taken.
You will see photos of Bill's artwork highlighted here. Just remember that if you do order a print, that it is a print of a photo of the original artwork NOT an actual print of the artwork.
We hope you enjoy the site. If you have photos that you would like to see as a painting, please contact morrowart@gmail.com for more information.
